3D/4D Ultrasound Training

Private, hands-on training at your location.

Learn on real pregnant clients, on your equipment, at your own studio. Delivered anywhere in the UK and Ireland by trainers who have opened studios, not just taught courses.

What you learn

Hands-on scanning is the whole programme.

Most certificate and degree courses skip 3D/4D elective imaging entirely. We fill that gap. The majority of your training is spent scanning real pregnant clients under direct supervision, using the same techniques every day that a working elective studio runs on.

Our goal is straightforward: when the training ends, you walk back into your studio ready to scan paying clients that week.

Training for every starting point.

For sonographers

Sonographers already trained in diagnostic imaging need the elective-specific techniques that keepsake studios rely on: optimal 4D face presentation, gender determination from 14 weeks, handling reluctant babies, live streaming setup, and the client-experience flow that keeps parents booking. Training takes two days or less for existing sonographers.

For non-sonographers

No medical background? No problem. Elective ultrasound is non-diagnostic, which means the legal route is open to you in the UK and Ireland. Training is entirely hands-on, using ultrasound phantoms and live pregnant clients. By the end of three to four days, you are performing professional 2D/3D/4D elective scans confidently.

Equipment applications training

Just bought a machine and don't know how to use it? We spend a day on your specific platform, whether that's a GE Voluson E8, a Samsung HERA W10, or any 3D/4D HD system on the market. You leave knowing the optimal preset, the probes that matter, and the workflows that will make your studio profitable.

What the training week looks like.

  • Day 1. Machine setup, presets, transducer handling, 2D scanning fundamentals, and safety/consent protocols for the UK/IE regulatory context.
  • Day 2. 3D volume acquisition and manipulation. You scan your first live clients under supervision.
  • Day 3. 4D real-time scanning, HD Live rendering, face presentation strategies for uncooperative babies, gender determination.
  • Day 4. Client flow, live streaming setup, image and video delivery, business questions. Assessed scanning session on live clients.

Sonographers typically condense this into two days. Non-sonographers take the full four. Either way, you leave capable of running a commercial studio.
